Are you merely existing?

That is how i felt for a long time. I told myself I do not know what to do to make a big change. This for me is the definition of being stuck. Knowing what you want but not being able to move towards it. Or feeling your life lacks a bigger purpose and you just cannot find it - sometimes it can feel your purpose is "too small" so you keep expecting some bigger purpose to show up.

"The road to success is always under construction". I have realized later that the big purpose does not magically appear without any effort. The road to success starts with our thoughts and also taking that first step. And then another one. Day after day. Also, there is no lasting purpose and meaning in life without discipline.

I believe we all know what we want and we also desire for some higher purpose and things we do not know yet, that are mystical somehow and a promise of a meaningful future. We would like to know almost everything ahead of time and know what things and when will happen - but guess what, we cannot. if you think back, how many amazing things have happened when you least expect it? I am sure you can find something.

Feeling stuck and feeling you are just existing is not a great feeling. I have not yet experienced that this feeling just disappears or that i can just think my way out of it. And i still do get the feeling of being stuck.

Most of us have an opportunity to grow and strive to become more. Physically, mentally, financially etc. This is in our hands - we can think what we want to do and take steps towards it. This can be fulfilling and meaningful. This can get you unstuck.

Coaching came to my life when i felt stuck. I feel it is a structured way to give back and help people get unstuck and start a new journey (or get back on the journey).

If you are feeling stuck, I would be happy to talk about it - you can reach out to me at www.ingmarcoaching.com or laatsingmar@gmail.com
